You are so lucky to have that car when I saw that car on Samcracs Chanel I became an Audi fan and rs7 became my favourite car forever that car have over 800hp if you don't believe me you can dyno it . That's a dream car I wonder why Sam fucked that car

I just read about you in my latest Car and Driver. Very impressive. You have brass balls pulling this car apart with no prior experience. I have to say, as a white man, that I am disappointed to hear about the racism you go through. Pre Trump I thought most of that shit was over, but now I see racism is alive and well in America. Best of luck to you.

Rich, this was a very impressive repair for an "amateur". Really good stuff. You said you were proud several times during this video, and each time I was thinking "you should be".

You should get a hellcat
Always Sawzall next to your cars battery.
No one finesse the sponsor slip in ad. Like uncle rich
Wonder how many thousands the last body shop charged for that hack job? Great job Rich.
Good on ya for tackling this yourself Rich.
it's motivational. Almost wish I woulda attempted the quarter panels on my Nova. eh.... idk.. LOL Thanks for the entertainment rich.
Awesome job!
would have been much easier to just paintless dent repair the trunk and reweld that weld job and paint it...
6:09 make sure to loose one (amature certified youtuber) when you disassemble and assemble it with screws left over and its still holding then you are certified pro engineer :P
Thanks for sharing this!
That's one strong folding 💺
Why am I watching this, guess I like repairs as well. Don't care much about cars but seems like a well done repairs channel good work.
In Forza, I tried making your rs7 but instead painted it carbon fibre
Who goes looking in your truck ? Lol
Do you use a modified head lamp for your go pro? Lol

Auto body technician too.?
Software engineer turn technician/innovator you are?
You could say it is Samcrac
Rich you're the best!! Lost Focus!!!!!
no heat gun and you re using a flame confused dude
Sanding without a N95 or face mask, burning substances with a blow torch on a car, not wearing gloves to protect your hands... Anyone of those can cause you extreme suffering down the road.
Does that chicken farmer look like Adam Sandler?
Kind of surprised Rich didn't take off the back of the exhaust as well knowing it wasn't in the right place either so it would make a little more room underneath. But darn man this is great fab work to watch.
Impressive! Promotion 😎 sneaked in just like that!
Well at least uncle Rich used protective gear including gloves and such for doing all this body work...oh wait...nevermind
Rich, cuz, if your gonna work on cars and film (ty for that). You got to get a GoPro and put it on a helmet, or sweat band. You can use both your hands to work.
Just if you did not know it but Key is missing with a Keyless VWagen's (Including bugatti and lambo) in a 95% means a low car battery or issues with voltage on ECU/ immobilizer. Rest 5% - key is actually not coded in your car.
Not bad but I thought he would use actual point welder...
YO THAT SNAKE PROBABLY ATE THOSE RATS IN THE FILTER, LOL YOU'RE GOING TO BE LINED UP FOR A RACE AND SNAKES AND RATS SHOOTING OUT OF YOUR EXHAUST LOL GREAT VIDEO MAN
So your one of those guys, goes both ways, dose your wife know?
sorry to say but im one of those guys that only uses the tools availible
Make sure you lose one
RICH, first time commenting and congratulation on the restoration. Hind sight is 20/20 and going forward, would it not have been better to just remove the rear passenger seat, pick and replace the entire piece with a better cosmetic outcome than what you had to do for salvaging the old forward section and now left with the re attachment point of the salvaged forward section and the newer replaced trunk floor visible for all to see. Stay positive as always Cheers
Wow towards the end, the whole weight of the car is on that blue camping chair! What a solid chair Rich! Which brand is it? 😁
So You did Bring home some Extra Pets for the Kids..
Grand job, looking good. Seeing those so called "Professional Repairs" makes my welding and panel repairs on my old car English car (I can't get the parts for my car, so I have to create compound curves among other items) look pretty good! Pity the second batch of spray paint made a couple of months later is lighter, but hey I am getting there.
A FU#king SNAKE ? 🙀 Are you KIDDING ?? I could never get in it ever after that.
Damn nice repair, I love the fact that you decided to replace te pieces that were fixable. Looks great so far :)
As a carpenter I feel bad for that chisel.
Looking at the quality of the work done by the previous owner makes me think his name should be Sam Crap.
You pay too much attention to comments
Hellooo. I’m new to your channel. And no I don’t have an electric car!! Hahaha. I drive a 1993 Honda Accord ex. And I love it, I’ve owed it for 18 years, with other cars too. I know some people that have done a “K” Honda swop for the Mini Cooper. Good luck, luv the channel maaaan!!! I give ya an A-!! Great job, glad you chose to do it yourself!!! Cheers!! 👊🏼💪🏼👍🏼
Nice "Safety Flip Flops" I see there..... excellent use of PPE. :/
Did you retire the kitchen knife?
Man, wow, you inspire me! Thanx!!
The best oil is the free oil!
I was pretty much with you until you sprayed primer without masking or at least providing some protection to the exposed interior, exhaust, undercarriage... well everything. Over-spray get's EVERYWHERE, Rich! In any case, fun to watch a project like this. Thanks for sharing!
6:03 "make sure you lose one." OH-MAN I LAUGHED SO HARD AT THIS!
Your accent literally comes outta no where lol, is that jersey ?
Gas or electric it doesn't matter to me. If it's fast I'm on board. Electric instant torque is unbelievable. But hard to beat that amazing V8 sound.
Done well. Love your humor.
Rich says "I don't have any auto body experience" Rips apart entire rear of car then puts it back together. I am dead!
How did you manage to avoid those horrific electronic fault messages (hill hold assist, parking camera, ESC etc) on your dashboard once you had disconnected your battery?
Came to learn about some RS7 stuff, died laughing instead.
Dude, that's impressive! You now have a sub in me. I look forward to more videos.
Where on Earth did you find rubbing alcohol in these days and times????????????????????????????
One trick to figure out where spot welds are is to take flat black (cheapest pos spray paint you can find) and paint the whole area with it. Then, the hidden spot welds will pop out instantly in vision. Alternatively (but this is messy as hell) just throw graphite powder with an applicator. I prefer the paint variant since you're already going to have to paint it anyways. Plus, unlike back in the day, you have weld through flat black paint (if you don't wanna cheap out) and that's just pumping.
you are the best ALthe channel. Much love, keep doing you!
Really thought there was a sneak peek of the sponsor at 1:03 but, maybe I was just too paranoid
Start a gofundme then it's our audi
I have worked on my father's Chrysler town and country and it has 1 bolt in the taillight and it pops out
Props for taking on a repair like this in your garage (with a rusty chisel...) - good work bud. And that thing sounds like a Spitfire when it's running! The previous 'repair work' was appalling - bodywork by Stevie Wonder.
You did a great job bro look good.. I want a Audi a7 🙏🙏 I love this car I'm SAVEING for one right now
there is an extremely high pitched noise in the middle of this video
F
Man yore inspiring!
What's up with the mini??
Imagine having an RS7 and ordering chinese parts for it, shame on you previous owner
I'm not interested in cars but this is still entertaining
Another unfinished Samcrac rebuild... LOL
I dig the I8 build, glad you showed it
Does this type of repair affect the overall rigidity and integrity of the car? Will the car be as safe, etc?

Yes it is comprised, no it is not safe. The rebar directly behind the bumper (the silver aluminum bar) is the first line of defense second to the absorber which is attached to the bumper in the video as it comes off, it cannot be repaired and most be replaced if damaged. As for the rear body panel and floor I haven’t read the procedures but I’m pretty sure that should have been welded and bonded. And I’m not sure what the procedures are on sectioning that trunk pan but it seems sketchy with out looking it up.
The repairs look great.
you really should be proud.. super nice fix job. janky days are behind! now a skillful diyer!!
WOAH WOAH WOAH the exhaust is armytrix?!?!
Absolutely loved this vid Rich - I am especially fond of how you keep in all the stuff that doesn't quite work out. The car is an absolute beast and definitely deserved a better repair than it had when you bought it. Now that rear area looks great. Awesome work.
Best add yet featuring corn hub
Amazing DYI work, really enjoy doing all my work also. Keep up the good work.
You should start your own business brotha you're super smart & your work ethic is amazing!!!!..
Cornhub, first time I've rewound an ad! HA!
Am a x Aircraft sheet metal mechanic you did a A plus ➕ job on removing that belly pan
Good job I will give you B plus on the sealant job
Get a pneumatic sealant gun its lot more consistant than a manual gun
13:18 Looks like someone tried welding with a hammer.
Good Job.
It's "sneak PEEK", genius. Not "Sneak Peak".
"Random chicken farmer" is sending me
My dream is to work for Rich and he buys me Burger King at the end of each shift.
“FOCUS” 🗣🖤
I might have to send u some gloves that metal bouta cut ur hands
Great job
You are repairing things I can’t so I’m going to say great job Rich
wikifeet lmao
Did you buy it from Samcrac? The chicken farmer with a white Focus RS rusting on the grass?
It's samcracs car I remember it
I love it bro good job
Damn. Considering you have zero experience that is a 10/10
This guy is pretty impressive, I would never try to do half the shit he does. I tip my hat to him.
Looks pretty good, I would have sanded and painted the E-coat on the new panels. It’s not designed to be a permanent finish on the panel. Otherwise looks great!
Rich. You’re a genius. The work youve done with the Tesla’s is insane. I think your head is in the right space and you’re young enough so you should build your own car company. Yesterday I was talking with a friend about how the epa or environmental people should just make mileage requirements to make sure a car lasts a certain mileage. If old diesels can go a half million miles plus humans should be able to easily make a car that can consistently do that with the technology advancements we’ve seen in the past twenty years. Get rid of the “build it so it breaks” mentality that’s been created through massive amounts of greed. You seem like the dude so you’re welcome for your next “obsession”
GooooooooooD Job
